Andy File Associates are working on behalf of our client as a recruitment agency with regards this long term contract position / maternity co
Accounts Assistant required for well established award winning, market leading Sheffield business with a turnover of 3 to 4 million.
Working very closely with the Financial Director.
Duties and responsibilities to include:
- Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
- Processing of VAT, CIS returns and Instrastat
- Preparing sales invoices
- Job costings and allocation from timesheets
- Processing expenses and credit cards
- Assisting in other areas of the business overseeing mobile phone contracts, mot’s etc
Person specification
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multitask
- Flexible and adaptable
- Very strong attention to detail
- Good knowledge of excel
- Accountancy package: Quick books
Contract Length : 9 Months
Starting : Beginning Mid May 2023

Holidays: 22 days holiday plus stats
Hours: 9am – 5.30pm with an hour for lunch. Potential of some flexibility on hours
