Job description
We are currently seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join a well-established leading UK Bank in London. The company is currently undergoing a period of significant growth and change and offers a fantastic opportunity for someone who is in the early stages of their studies. The role provides study support, exposure within the business, and excellent long-term career prospects.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts for various entities
- Accounting for and creating financial statements
- Collaborating with the wider finance team and assisting with audits
- Working with senior finance to prepare audit schedules
- Assisting in the preparation of accounting memos
- Conducting monthly reviews of P&L and balance sheet analytics
- Providing support to the tax team for both internal and external queries
- Assisting with intercompany confirmations
- Resolving any discrepancies found in account balances.
Requirements for the role:
- Currently part-qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification
- Familiarity with accounting processes and up-to-date accounting standards
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
- Ability to work with precision under tight deadlines and excellent communication skills
Salary and Benefits:
