Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Lowestoft, Montrose, Wick, Glasgow or Perth.

Salary: £44,100 to £66,100 + Performance Related Bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

About the Role

  • Support the specification and completion of structural inspections and other offshore works planned to monitor known risk factors, including the development of corrosion assessments and application of risk-based inspection schemes.
  • Monitor and manage installed structural health monitoring (SHM) across the portfolio, developing further, specifying and tendering for further monitoring where deemed necessary.
  • Manage relevant third-party contractors to deliver integrity related work packages, steering works in accordance with site objectives.
  • Support structural assessment and risk mitigation on the application of WTG performance enhancements and asset life extension to maximise value across asset life.
  • Contribute to the development of digital twins for operational assets, communicating asset health to a range of stakeholders.
  • Input into the design delivery process, ensuring known risk factors are communicated and considered as part of the development of new projects.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Previous experience within an offshore or renewables generation industry would be an advantage, although not essential.
  • You'll ideally be qualified to Degree (or equivalent) level in a relevant engineering discipline and be working towards or have achieved chartered status. As the position requires knowledge and experience gained within industry, consideration will be given to suitably experienced individuals.
  • A demonstrable background with analytical, engineering and project management skills would be advantageous. Experience using finite element analysis or structural modelling software would also be advantageous.
  • You will have the opportunity to develop your understanding of offshore wind operations and maintenance and contribute throughout the project lifecycle. Your personal and professional development will be regarded as a key objective, with opportunities to access a range of training and progression opportunities.
