Job Description

Assembly Specialist
Shift: Day Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Seeking a team-oriented Assembly Specialist with a positive attitude to join the Defense and Space business unit within Skyworks. The Assembly Specialist plays a key role in ensuring high performance and high-quality products are manufactured to customers for aerospace, defense, medical, extreme industrial and high-reliability markets and applications. This position requires a person with the ability to communicate and interface with different departments for assembly issues and corrective actions and be a self-motivated team player with a strong desire to succeed in a quality focused assembly operations environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Work as part of a team assembling semiconductors under a microscope using a liquid dispensing system, die attach, wire bond, seal, and mark equipment
Prepare materials for production use (i.e. staging, measuring, mixing, etc.)
Perform visual inspections before, during, and after the assembly process
Review and complete lot travelers to ensure assembly process is documented correctly

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience Required
3 years minimum experience in manufacturing of small products under a microscope
Basic computer skills (Windows environment and Microsoft Office Preferred)
Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods
Good hand eye coordination, dexterity, and basic clean room proficiency
Ability to monitor and assess self-performance
Familiar with MIL-STD visual inspection criteria preferred
Meticulous attention to detail and able to understand work related documents
Must have team-oriented attitude, accountability and ownership
Experience with small hand tools (i.e. tweezers)
Highly motivated, hands on, cooperative, and positive attitude a must
