Roxspur Measurement & Control Ltd (RM&C), based in Sheffield, became part of TT Electronics in July 2014. Our products include sensors, thermocouples, thermometers, transducers, transmitters, flowmeters and controllers. Our modern cell based manufacturing facilities are fully flexible for small and large batch runs, enabling us to provide short lead times even for customized products The in-house manufacturing and testing is backed up by our own UKAS accredited laboratory for pressure, temperature, flow and electrical parameters. A team of field-based engineers also provide a full calibration, maintenance and repair service throughout Europe.

We are recruiting for an Assembly Operative in our Temperature department. In this position the successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing the company’s products, to meet production output targets and attain the high quality standards required with due regard to health and safety.
Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor/Team Leader, key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Adherance to good working practices and H&S guidlines
- Assembly and testing of mineral insulated temperature probe
- Analysis & comprehension of test data
- Reviewing and understanding works processes/technical documentation
- Meeting strict customer deadlines
- Maintaining production output and quality standards
The successful candidate will have:
- manufacturing/assembly experience
- good record of attendance and team ethic
- ability to work unsupervised once fully trained
- High attention to detail
- good organisational/housekeeping skills
- confidence to raise suggestions and concerns to team leads and managers

Working Hours and Benefits
39 hours a week (7.30-16.30 Mon-Thu; 7:30-12.30 Fridays)- 25 Annual Holidays in plus 8 statutory holidays. Holidays can be taken hourly.
