Job description
A position has become available for a warehouse assembly operative, at our small family run manufacturing company of Traffic Control and Parking Equipment.
As one of our dedicated assemblers/despatchers, you will work as part of our amazing team in a busy and fast paced position. The successful applicant will be employed as a Multi Skilled Labourer and full training will be given : -
Responsibilities
- Preparation of manufactured products before powder-coating
- Assembly of all products – involves heavy lifting so applicants must be fit and able
- Quality checking products before dispatch
- Packing of all products for delivery to our customers keeping to daily deadlines
- Receiving and checking incoming and outgoing deliveries

- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Be responsible for the tidiness and control of your own working area
- To work with minimum of supervision using own initiative once training has been completed
Your duties will be advised by your supervisor. Your duties may be modified from time to time to suit the business needs.
This permanent and full-time position is at our factory in Rugeley, Staffordshire. If you are a punctual individual, with good time keeping and attendance, and you are interested in the role then we would really like to hear from you!
Hours : Monday – Thursday 7:00am -5pm (45 minutes unpaid break)
Friday 7:00am – 12:45pm (15 minutes unpaid break)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.42 per hour
