Salary: £26,201 + Shift Pay

The Role:
We are recruiting for a passionate and driven individual to grow and develop into a Machinist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using engineering drawings/instructions to assembly a variety of switches and crossings
- Using calibrated tools for measuring.
- Slinging/Lifting and moving product by internal overhead cranes.
- Familiar with drills/ band saws and small tools
- Works to achieve the production plan to the correct quality and safety standards and to deadline
- Complies with safety, health, environmental and quality policies and procedures
Skills and Experience:
- Awareness of safety, health, environmental and quality issues
- Trained slinger preferably
- Fitting experience an advantage
- Able to understand engineering drawings/instructions
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines and targets
