Furniture Assembler

Fantastic opportunity working on the outskirts of Chard for a high quality contract furniture producer.

Monday to Friday £10.90 per hour Temp to perm contract

The Role

We are looking for a special person with an eye for detail and some great assembly/Finishing skills

Duties to include:

• Framing and assembly work
• Manufacture and assemble components as required by Production Plan
• Ensure Joinery workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Various machining and assembly duties including power tooling, sanding etc.
• Working to deadlines
• Assisting with Unloading and loading of timber and furniture
• Snagging including fixing and touch-up of furniture

About You

A can do attitude is a must where hard work is rewarded. Attention to detail is a must and you will be very particular in the finish of the piece of furniture you will be working on.

Skills and Experience

• Edge Banding skills an advantage.
• Understanding working drawings advantageous
• A sound working knowledge using hand and power tools
• Attention to detail and able to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional approach
