Job description
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic freelance Arts & Crafts Writer to produce features and blog posts for a leading online magazine - Sixty And Me. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality articles, blog posts, tutorials, and other content related to arts & crafts that are engaging, informative, and educational for our readers.
Responsibilities:
- Write articles, blog posts, tutorials, and other types of content related to arts and crafts, with a focus on the interests and needs of the over 60s market.
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in arts and crafts, particularly as they relate to the over 60s demographic.
- Collaborate with other members of the content team, including editors and designers, to ensure that all content is high-quality and meets the needs of our readers.
- Manage and prioritize your workload to ensure that all content is delivered on time and meets our editorial standards.
Requirements:
- A proven background writing about Arts & Crafts or similar.
- An strong understanding of our target demographic.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to conduct research and synthesize information from a variety of sources.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Passion for arts and crafts and a genuine interest in engaging with the over 60s market.
- Ideally, a reader of Sixty And Me with a knowledge of the brand
About the role
This will be an ongoing freelance position, with a three month trial period. We are looking for someone that can commit 20-30 hours per week.
Remuneration will be dependent on experience with content paid for by the word or article.
