RBK Entertainment is an independent label that focuses on bridging the gap between disabled and able artists. We work with artists and groups to help develop their passions and there sound. We work to make sure that the artists can walk away with something that is truly unique to them.
We are seeking a hard working, dedicated, vibrant and experienced Label Manager who is able to work two fixed days (Thursday & Friday) 16 hours a week (11am-7pm) and is able to offer long term commitment and be a part of our management team. This has the potential to grow to three days.
It is crucial that the candidate has a proven track record within artist management and music distribution in the commercial urban music industry, with knowledge on marketing artists and developing marketing strategies and promotional campaigns as this is a key requirement of the role.
The candidate will have previous experience in releasing music to major online music distribution platforms for example: iTunes, Spotify etc. The candidate should also have previous experience marketing press releases. This role also has a necessity with the legal side of music releases.
Strong communication skills and highly confident when reaching out to other potential artists and representing the label with a good businesses knowledge and a high level of industry understanding.
Duties Will Include :
- Event Planning
- Business Management
- Networking and building relationships with sponsors, brands, radio stations
- Creating strategic campaigns using Social Media to raise awareness
- Writing press releases and artist bios
- Liaising between legal representatives
- Strong background in artist management
- Manage the signings
- Lock in Live Shows
- Secure Radio playlists
- Secure streaming platform playlists
You will be a creative professional who is motivated and a self-starter, loyal and able to work using your own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
1 year music manager experience required.
