As a Brand Illustrator, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's visual language, creating illustrations, designing icon libraries, supporting digital design projects, and contributing to brand exploration. Your artistic talent, creativity, and ability to understand and interpret brand guidelines will be vital in elevating our design aesthetic. If you have motion design experience, you'll have the opportunity to create dynamic and engaging animations that enhance our brand's storytelling.
- Create high-quality illustrations that align with our brand's values, tone, and target audience.
- Design and maintain icon libraries that are cohesive with our brand identity and can be used across various platforms and applications.
- Support digital design efforts by creating engaging visuals for our ads, landing pages, email campaigns and other digital touch points.
- Contribute to brand exploration initiatives by conceptualising and presenting new design ideas, exploring different illustration styles, and helping evolve our brand identity.
- Develop illustrations for a variety of applications, including branding materials, marketing campaigns, social media content, website assets, and more.
- Ensure consistency in style, color palette, and overall visual identity across different mediums and platforms.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in brand design, illustration, and motion design, bringing new ideas and fresh perspectives to the team.
- Collaborate closely with the design team, marketing team, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver compelling visual solutions.
- Collaborate with the motion designers within the team to create animated assets and motion graphics that enhance our brand's storytelling.
- Solid understanding of brand design principles and the ability to adapt illustrations to align with existing brand guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye for composition, typography, and visual storytelling.
- Experience in designing and maintaining icon libraries that are scalable, versatile, and on-brand.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Figma, Adobe Illustrator) and a strong grasp of design principles, composition, and color theory.
- Experience in supporting digital design efforts and creating visuals for digital platforms.
- Motion design experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Alternatively, a willingness to learn motion design on the job is highly valued. If you have any other interests in creative fields, we would love to hear it!
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
