The Role
We are currently on the lookout for a freelance Illustrator to support with some client project work commencing 31st July - 31st August.
At Toaster, we are visual storytellers, problem-solvers and innovators. Everyone on our creative team is expected to think inside, outside, and all around the box. As a Toaster illustrator/designer, your work doesn’t end at creating a beautiful composition. That, in fact, would just be the beginning. We need you to possess both the vision to see the big picture and the focus to craft a beautiful piece of communication. You must also take charge of your ideas and, when needed, present them to the clients with passion and conviction. Most of all, your work must hold the power to move and inspire millions of people.
What you’ll be doing
- Design an engaging and appropriate hand drawn illustration style visual
- Sourcing typography
- Creating english copy to be adapt in 5 other European languages
What you’ll bring
- Willingness to collaborate closely with other Designers, Art Directors, Copywriters, Animators and Creative Directors to visualise concepts and bring marketing deliverables to life
- An eye for fundamental visual aesthetic principles, hierarchy and graphic composition
- Experience in hand drawn Illustration styles
- Background in design would be desirable
- Communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to demonstrate a clear vision of how the work addresses the client challenge
