Art Technician – North London – January 2023 Start

A welcoming and popular North London Secondary School are seeking a creative Art Technician to join their Art Department on a full time basis. The role is due to start January 2023. The successful Art Technician will be required to work 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday, term time only. The hourly pay for this role is £13- £16. The successful applicant will have a degree in Art or Design.

About the role:

The school are looking to appoint a passionate and creative Art and Design Technician to provide outstanding support to the Art and Design Departments. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining studios and workshops, ensuring all equipment, machinery and tools are correctly maintained, stored and handled as well as preparing materials and setting up for lessons. The role will involve in-class support, providing demonstrations to students and assisting teaching staff and students in classes.
