37 hours per week (2 x 1.0 FTE, job share available)

Fashion and Textiles, Product Design and Graphic Design in the School of Design and Creative Arts at Loughborough University rank 1st in the Guardian University Guide 2023. Results of the 2021 Research Excellence Framework show that 100% of Loughborough University’s research impact in Art and Design is now rated as ‘world-leading’ or ‘internationally-excellent’.
We are seeking applicants with a track record in Higher Education that are able to contribute into the graphic design and illustration curriculum, teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
Candidates should be able to bridge theory and practice, drawing on professional industry experience alongside critical and contextual knowledge. The ability to teach creative practice is essential and should include competencies in one or more of: Typography, image-making, branding, UX, motion graphics or packaging design.
