Art & Design/Food & Textiles Technician
30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, Mon-Fri
Salary £14,823 per annum
Trustees are looking to appoint, a talented and creative individual to support in both Art & Design and Food & Textiles.
The successful candidate will work with the D&T Faculty to support teachers with the preparation and creation of resources, including displays. Preparation of a wide range of materials, ingredients and equipment/tools for use by teachers and pupils in the classroom/workshops – including procurement of art products, food and textiles, laundering tea towels, dishcloths, aprons etc. A senior position (37hrs) may be available for a suitably qualified/experienced candidate
Full induction for the post will be given, together with on-going support for the successful candidate.
As an academy we are committed to developing our staff, this will include completion of Level 2 Food & Hygiene and First Aid certification.
