Eco Brite Cleaning Services offer commercial cleaning across Hull, Beverley, Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Brigg. Our client base is wide and varied, from schools, medical centres and offices, to factories and hospitality.

We are currently recruiting an Area Supervisor in the Scunthorpe/Grimsby/Brigg area.

The successful candidate must have experience in COSHH, Health and Safety, Hygiene Colour Coding & have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

About the role:
To provide direct line support to management and cleaning staff across the business. To ensure the smooth running of the service, the standard of work meets the requirements of the client at all times and that statutory obligations are met in full. Liaise on an on-going basis with the Cleaning Manager.

Duties:

  • To assess cleaning standards and ensure appropriate action is taken to investigate and resolve issues
  • To communicate to the Site Co-Ordinator any concerns regarding health and safety, cleaning standards or client relations
  • To undertake client feedback (informal) as and when required
  • To induct and mentor new starters and provide additional staff training when required
  • To ensure training of all operatives is up to date and to request training services as and when required
  • To assist with the start of a new contract, or handover of site between operatives.
  • To monitor stock levels on sites.
  • To ensure that cleaning duties are carried out strictly by the Hygiene Colour Coding System
  • To ensure that the company Health and Safety Policy is adhered to including the use and storage of chemicals and cleaning equipment and undertake Health and Safety audits
  • Maintain Confidentiality
  • To attend company and staff meetings
  • Provide cover cleaning if required

Hours:

  • 15 hours a week
  • Mornings and Evenings - Must be flexible with availability
