Job description
We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to provide relief for a variety of sites in the Nottingham area.
The successful candidate will have a valid front line SIA licence, valid UK driving licence and vehicle, a friendly demeanour and excellent communication skills and will be flexible in their approach to provide relief for security teams at various sites in the region.
Shift Pattern: Nights, Days and weekends, permanent.
Pay rate: £11.40 per hour.
The Area Security Officer role would suit those with excellent interpersonal skills and who wish to develop skills in security, gatekeeping, and as a Security Officer. Must be able to travel across a 10-15 mile radius in the area.
Roles and Responsibilities will include the following dependent on the site:
· Providing relief for security teams at a variety sites.
· Maintaining a safe and secure environment & ensure safe access to the building at all times.
· Carrying out patrols/hazard reporting etc as requested.
· Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are adhered to.
· Completing all necessary reports in line with company documentation.
· Access/ Egress control.
· Monitoring of alarms & CCTV system.
· Key Holding responsibilities.
· Controlling and monitoring access to the carparks.
· General refuse management & ensuring overall tidiness on site.
· Provide a high standard of customer service.
· Be polite, helpful, and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos.
· Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations.
· General cleaning and upkeep of site.
Salary: £11.40 per hour
