Area Sales Manager North East Northumberland
Job description
Polypipe Building Products are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.
Role: An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and goal-orientated Area Sales Manager to become part of Polypipe’s Northeast & Scotland sales team. The successful candidate will work to promote the sales of Polypipe Building Products and develop key merchant accounts both national and independents within Northeast & Teesside area.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise and develop strong links with the existing customer base to develop sales opportunties which can be fed back through our supply chain partners
- Generate new contractor business within the region and strive to deliver excellent customer service
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate ambition and be an excellent communicator
- Previous Sales experience within the Construction Industry is essential
- Have a technical understanding of Plumbing, Heating & Drainage systems is preferred. It is also crucial that this person is numerate and articulate with their work
Hours of work: This is a full time role with remote working. There will be travel involved across the North East & Scotland.
Rate of pay: Competitive Salary on offer, Company Car & Bonus structure.
