Scope of Role
This is a full time permanent field based role where you will have responsibility for the sales of Kingspan Klargester branded products within your given territory, in South West region in postcodes TR, PL, EX, TQ, TA, DT, BA, JE, GE The successful candidate will be required to work closely with a range of customers and influencers and take control of enquiries and customer relationships within his or her area.

You will be required to operate at a range of levels within our sector from home owners, house builders, major contractors, regional and national builders’ merchants & accredited installers. It is essential that Kingspan Klargester offers premium products and premium customer service. You will need to ensure that as Area Sales Manager you operate to the highest standards specifying and selling ethical solutions that meet both the customer’s needs and the companies profit aspirations.
The ideal candidate will need to have the ability to develop the area and sales strategy in order to support the overall strategic vision of the business.
Compliance
· Cooperating with and support the compliance management system and encouraging personnel to do the same
· Developing personnel awareness of product compliance obligations
· Actively participate in corrective actions from concerns or internal audits.
· Ensuring that all personnel within their control are complying with the organisations product compliance obligations, policies, processes and procedures
· Integrating product compliance obligations into existing business practises and procedures in their area of responsibility and encouraging a compliance culture
Encouraging their personnel to raise product compliance concerns.
Key Responsibilities
· Achieve sales targets for your territory
· Deal efficiently and professionally with incoming sales enquiries
· Providing onsite technical support and advice whilst working closely with our technical sales team
· Work closely and professionally with all internal sales, operations and technical offices
· Generate quotations va CRM and in partnership with sales office / technical sales
· Dealing with customer technical product queries by telephone and on site
· Assist other members of team as required
· Attend exhibitions / provide CPD’s as required
· Report activity using specified systems
· Maintain regular contact with new and existing customers at multiple levels within the distribution network
· Develop a specification program on area
· With the NSM, control of pricing strategy on the territory
· Play a key role in developing the relationship between internal and external sales teams
· Work closely with the NSM to develop high level customer contacts on a national basis through regional relationships
· With key customers set up clear sales plans and initiatives at all levels
· Ensure that our selling protocols always meet the highest standards
· Prepare and present performance reports and presentations on territory performance
· Work with marketing on customer campaigns, national campaigns and sales initiatives
· All other reasonable tasks associated with a Kingspan Klargester Area Sales Manager role
· Will need to be prepared to work evenings and weekends on rare occasions.
Qualification
Degree level education or equivalent
History of management training
Experience & Knowledge
Proven experience in a similar role, or extensive field-based sales experience
Previous experience working within the wastewater industry
