We are currently looking for a Area Sales Manager to join our team at Dunbar.

Role Responsibility

In the role of an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage all aspects of the customer relationship within a designated area, which may include key national accounts and major projects in order to achieve budgeted volume and revenue, logistical and administrative contact with the customer base.
  • Seeking out and securing new opportunities, servicing and maintaining existing business, whilst representing the customer in effectively communicating their requirements internally to the various other operational functions
  • Promote a health and safety culture at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience of:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent Experience:
  • Proven track record in selling, negotiating and customer account management
  • Experience of working in a customer sector, e.g. ready mix, concrete products manufacture an advantage
  • Cement/Concrete technical experience (achieving Diploma in Advanced Concrete Technology expected)
  • Experience of working within a National sales team
  • Experience of working with cross-functional disciplines
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Nationally mobile
  • Good market and customer knowledge
