Area Sales Manager
(Permanent, Full Time 38.75 hours, 8.45am to 5.30pm)
Location: Covering Postcodes: EN, SG, WD and AL
Your New Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our External Sales team on a permanent basis covering postcodes EN, SG, WD & AL. You will be managing an already successful area, using your expertise in customer relationships and sales techniques to maintain relationships, identify opportunities for growth and action these opportunities to continue our success and profitability.
The External Sales team cover the length and breadth of the country and form one of the most knowledgeable and experienced sales teams in the industry. You will have access to our state-of-the-art Training Academy at Head Office in Rugby, getting hands on with our new products, sharing knowledge and gaining more training in sales techniques.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Present, promote and sell products/services using solid proposals to existing and prospective customers, both face to face and remotely using the digital media tools provided
· Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships, reaching out to customer leads and expediting resolutions to customer problems to maximise satisfaction
· Analyse the area and market potential, track sales and status reports, supplying management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests and competitor activities, reviewing potential for new products and services
What you’ll need to succeed:
· Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
· Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
· Be located within commuting distance of postcodes specified in order to visit relevant customers easily and accessibly
· Knowledge and experience of selling products within the Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom industry would be advantageous and desirable.
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with CRM (Salesforce) practices
· Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audiences’ needs, via face to face and digital media platforms
· Relationship management skills, drive, initiative, and enthusiasm
· Good reporting and analytical skills

This position is full time and permanent. Hours of work are 8:45am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. A job profile is available on request.
