Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland – Area Retail Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Area Retail Manager to join our charity. We have a portfolio of 25 shops each generating income that supports the needs of older people living in Leicester & Leicestershire.

Do you have the experience and skills to help develop our retail sector and look at new initiatives on how we can produce additional income through online trading and other creatives. You will have a team of direct reports, ranging from your personal deputy manager, shop managers, cover managers, drivers, and the maintenance team. We have a fantastic group of volunteers who continue to support the shops and you will work alongside the volunteer coordinator looking at recruitment drives and initiatives. As the Area Retail Manager, you can come across numerous challenges, and will need to face them head on, being positive in your approach.

This is a great career opportunity for an individual with proven experience, not only managing a large group of people, but also having commercial and business awareness, with the ability to achieve sales targets.
