The Role:
Our Area Operations Managers will hold accountability for their assigned region of Solus repair, engineering quality alongside the network and non-network of motor repairers within that assigned region on service, people, and cost. You will utilise your own dedicated engineering function, to ensure the delivery of technical standards within their regions consistently, alongside colleagues across the group allowing our third-party relationships to flourish with smaller network relationships. Creating a collaborative working environment which focuses on our purpose of getting customers back to normal, by understanding what matters to them and delivering against it through our principals and key measures.
- Accountable for the performance of area and their people.
- To manage Solus, Non-Network service, and oversight contracted repairer performance across across their teams and multiple geographies to improve their performance.
- Facilitates and maintains the BAU process for the region, including definition of strategy, goals, detailed plans and KPIs and coordinating with different functions in the organisation to meet objectives against the plan.
- Provide leadership to the Solus operational business day to day.
- Act as change agent to operational effectiveness and client experience.
- Delivery of various special task forces/ business improvement initiatives.
- Set and reinforce consistent standards and ensure effective client communications.
- Foster a culture that promotes ethical practices, customer focus and encourages integrity.
- Ensure an effective succession plan is in place for all leadership positions and other key roles.
- Accountable for Governance, Supervision & Operational Risk Management.
- Responsible for overall operational risk for their designated region, with an invested interest in the wider operation – coach their operations team to take appropriate action to close operational identified to reach peak performance.
