Area Manager – TYS Retail - Cambridgeshire
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Area Manager to join our business, supporting approximately 7-8 Nisa branded sites within our store network across Cambridgeshire. TYS is an independent business with a flat structure, so you will be reporting directly to the owner, the business has been built from strength to strength and is looking to continue to expand, with new sites being planned for 2023/24.
We make no apology for wanting to be the best Independent Retailer in the country. We will never compromise on our shop standards thus ensuring that each and every-time our customers visits one of our sites they receive the full effect of our 'Retail is Detail' experience.
Who are we looking for?
We need an enthusiastic, passionate, and driven individual who is results driven, can motivate, and empower a team and who its able to lead by example.
The right applicant will have a track record in either food retail and or multi-site management who is looking for their next step in their career path, or someone who is already a successful Area Management experience but is looking for a new challenging environment to enhance their current skills and continue to develop their career. In addition to the above, you will need:
An enabling leadership style - able to develop and mentor others and lead by example.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work smart.
Ability to analyse a problem and implement the best possible solution.
Drive, motivation, and willingness to challenge yourself and others.
Flexibility and availability to meet the demands expected from an open all hour's business.
Your responsibilities will include:
To ensure your area of store are consistently performing in line with agreed KPI’s and responsibility for driving the area’s sales and overall profitability.
To prioritise compliance issues sufficiently to ensure essential Legal compliance and ensure all store follow company procedures.
To identify business opportunities on potential new stores and existing store developments.
Analyse overall sales, audits, performance and customer service standards and performance and identify potential for improvement.
Responsible for the successful opening and operation of a new or re-furbished stores in the area.
Complete business reviews with the Store Managers in your area and assist them in identifying risk and potential within their business.
