The Role
Due to expansion, we are looking for an HR Assistant to join our team in Stretford. Our HR Assistant will be a key point of contact for our team, at every stage of their journey with LOFT. Reporting into XXXXXX, you will be part of a high achieving team with a line manager who is there to mentor, support and develop you. This will be an excellent opportunity looking for someone to progress their HR career and get exposure to a 360 HR Assistant role.
Duties
Your duties as an HR Assistant will include, but are not limited to:
- Onboarding of new employees including offer letters, contracts and induction coordination
- Managing leavers process
- Provide basic information, guidance and advice to managers and employees on HR policies and processes
- Recruitment Support, including job descriptions and booking interviews
- Probation Reviews
- Provide the first level of support for HR queries including payroll, holidays etc.
- Maintain the HR databases and employee records
- HR reports including absence management
- Ad-hoc HR projects as required
Your Profile
- Previous experience in a HR role, ideally in manufacturing, engineering, distribution etc.
- Ideally you will be CIPD Level 3 qualified
- The ability to work in a small team
- You must be willing to work in an on-site role
