The Role

Due to expansion, we are looking for an HR Assistant to join our team in Stretford. Our HR Assistant will be a key point of contact for our team, at every stage of their journey with LOFT. Reporting into XXXXXX, you will be part of a high achieving team with a line manager who is there to mentor, support and develop you. This will be an excellent opportunity looking for someone to progress their HR career and get exposure to a 360 HR Assistant role.

Duties

Your duties as an HR Assistant will include, but are not limited to:

  • Onboarding of new employees including offer letters, contracts and induction coordination
  • Managing leavers process
  • Provide basic information, guidance and advice to managers and employees on HR policies and processes
  • Recruitment Support, including job descriptions and booking interviews
  • Probation Reviews
  • Provide the first level of support for HR queries including payroll, holidays etc.
  • Maintain the HR databases and employee records
  • HR reports including absence management
  • Ad-hoc HR projects as required

Your Profile

  • Previous experience in a HR role, ideally in manufacturing, engineering, distribution etc.
  • Ideally you will be CIPD Level 3 qualified
  • The ability to work in a small team
  • You must be willing to work in an on-site role
