With our headquarters in Italy and a strong presence in over 120 countries, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our team in the UK.
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, you will be expected to develop close relationships with existing and new customers, such as installers and distributors, to create a regional plan that aligns with their needs and goals.
Responsibilities:
● Sales & relationship management with B2B customers.
● Maintain relationships with existing customers by providing timely and comprehensive information about products and/or services, as well as preparing proposals on new opportunities.
● Support customers with technical issues both on-site and at their premises through advice and problem-solving.
● Acquire new customers within existing and/or new market segments, with a proactive prospecting strategy.
● Provide input (market share, price evolution and sales budget) for the budget process of the company.
● Collect, interpret, and share market information: customers, competitors, and potential new channels/customers.
Key Requirements:
● Ideally degree educated with evidence of previous sales training.
● A proven sales track record of at least 5 years within the UK construction sector, ideally selling to the installation community and being directly involved in commercial specification work.
● Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
● The ability to positively influence existing and new customers.
● Good understanding of technical products to assess the technical feasibility of the customer’s needs.
