Job Description
The Area Housekeeping Manager will manage and ensure full operational delivery of the housekeeping and cleaning service on a daily basis. The role is a mobile regional role and the successful applicant will be required to travel extensively to all offices within their remit, and when required support issues throughout the contract should there be a need. They will effectively lead their site housekeeping teams structuring process and service delivery.
The Area Housekeeping Services Manager will take a key role in driving and implementation at site level ISS process, systems and compliance.
- To assist and ensure the ongoing development of all supervisors, operatives and teams within the sites you manage
- To create, maintain and enhance effective working relationships with the clients at the appropriate level
- To produce accurate and timely reports and information as required by the client or the company
- To effectively manage people and material resources to achieve financial targets and maximise profitably
- To promote and develop Company services, keeping line manager informed of possible growth, development and business opportunities
- Plan, allocate and monitor the work of self and team to ensure targets are met work is carried out to meet and exceed agreed quality standards, creating necessary conditions for maximum productivity
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to details
- Good time management skills
- Ability to achieve deadlines, work under pressure and use own initiative
- Able to communicate at all levels
- IT literate with an excellent understanding PowerPoint/Word/Excel
- Experience of people management
