Position: Area Barista Trainer (Account Development)
Location: Field-based. The ideal candidate will live in London within the M25 to cover London area and Southern England.
Job Type: Full time, permanent
Days: Monday to Friday
Salary: £25k per annum + company vehicle

Purpose of Role:
This role supports our customers by ensuring high quality training is delivered in line with company target and strategy and delivers sales targets within the Customer Training department. You will deliver training whilst promoting Matthew Algie products and services.
This is a hybrid training and sales role in which the roleholder will recognise opportunities and assist customers in a consultative manner.The role holder will aim to understand the customers needs and recommendproducts and services that maximize value. By managing their own workload, therole holder will assist in sales strategies in order to achieve sales targets.
- Carry out site visits to agreed contracted frequencies for agreed sites
- To undertake coffee and equipment quality checks, in the form of audits and mystery shops
- Identify customer training needs on the perfect serve, coffee knowledge, brand standards and coffee equipment maintenance
- Deliver training sessions as scheduled on an agreed frequency to ensure that coffee can be aligned with agreed contracts
- During regular site visits, selling opportunities should be maximised, whether additional products, including from Espresso Warehouse range, equipment placements etc. or service contracts, to secure growth within your area.
- Monitor sales growth through top line sales and coffee (per kilo)
Experience:
Essential
- Deliver training sessions to customers
- Responsible for meeting established sales focused KPIs
- Identify opportunities for sales close sale
- Field experience travelling to deliver training sessions
- Selling including practical demonstrations
Desirable:
- Coffee shop or related coffee service / food service background
- Experience gained in a retail / FMCG setting
Skills / Knowledge:
Essential:
- Consultative selling approach
- High standards of personal and administration and time management
- IT Literate
- Effective communicator at all levels
- Good interpersonal Skills
- Excellent presentation skills, that focus on the production of all espresso equipment
- Technical Aptitude
- Able to train customers on manual espresso equipment
- Able to train customers on coffee equipment in the areas of daily use, beverage production and cleaning and maintenance
- Ability to design and construct bespoke training needs analysis and presentations
- Ability to maximise on sales opportunities
