Job Title: Archivist
Company: Capita - Public Service CIC SRA
Pay: £10.90ph (Paid Weekly)
Hours: 37.5hrs PW, Mon - Fri flexible 7.5hrs per day 8:00am to 17.30pm
Location: Working on site: Colonnade Point , Prologis Park, Coventry CV64BU
Onsite training, they will buddied up with somebody who will make them aware of the role and what's required. Confidentiality agreement to sign, things to read and sign off, and manual handling.
Role Profile
Public Service (Capita Business Services Ltd). This role will involve indexing for CPS. The role of the Archivist will be to search for requested documents by matching that document against specified categories within the designated document storage boxes located in an office within the warehouse. Around 60/80 percent of the day will be dedicated to this task and the remainder will involve importing data from those files and then entering that information into the database towards the end of the day. JOB PURPOSE: To identify and index large volumes of files and documents onto a database
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service backgrounds do not tend to work very well as these candidates will not be on the telephones. Retail and hospitality are more manual so has worked well previously is open to considering other backgrounds with the right skill set.

- To inspect files and documents recovered from solicitors firms
- To determine ownership of files and documents
- To barcode individual files and documents
- To sort, pack and scan files into boxes in preparation for storage
- To ensure files are correctly recorded and ensure that quality control checks are carried out in accordance with agreed standards
- To ensure that all aspects of confidentiality are strictly observed
- Any other tasks which will be in line with customer and business needs
