Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled tutors to join our Libra tutors team. At the moment, we are looking for freelance tutors with an architecture background either at undergraduate or postgraduate level, who will be helping students with their university admissions preparation. The lessons are always 1:1 and are expected to be held online.

Job responsibilities

• Making lesson plans for students.
• Evaluating pupils based on their current knowledge of a subject.
• Liaise with the student's education consultant and suggest additional education and growth in topic areas.
• Evaluating a student's progress in a topic and finding opportunities for improvement
• Providing mock exams or tests to pupils in order to prepare them for actual exams.
• Examining the student's homework assignments and exam scores, as well as going through problem questions that the student did not correctly answer.
• Liaise with the students' education consultant about any problems or concerns that need to be addressed.
• Keeping abreast with current curriculum and teaching trends
• Maintaining a thorough understanding and competence of the material being taught

Pay rate: 30£/h

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 2 years (preferred)
• Tutoring: 2 years (preferred)
