Description
We are looking for talented Architectural Technologists (minimum 3-4 years’ experience) to be based in our award-winning Bristol studio to work across our Healthcare, Education, Residential, Workplace and other sector projects. The Bristol studio already has a recognised strength in technical design, co-ordination, delivery and within our project and profession team environments, using Revit the candidates will primarily be responsible for technical design co-ordination, problem solving, production of architectural details and co-ordination activities making a significant contribution to the team’s output and project successes.
As a major interdisciplinary building design practice of Architects, Engineers, Designers and Urbanists, BDP offers a unique opportunity to work on definitive high-profile projects within interdisciplinary project teams.
About you
You will have experience working as an Architectural Technologist and have excellent design and graphic skills, together with an enthusiastic and collaborative approach to your work. Good technical knowledge and Revit skills are essential for the position along with the ability to work on complex and diverse design problems.
- Senior Architectural Technician / Senior Architectural Technologist with a minimum HND/ HNC qualification, preferably CIAT qualified
- Excellent communication skills and track record of working within large design teams
- Proven experience in producing production information using Revit to an advanced level
- Experience of producing Revit outputs that will feed directly into contractor client supply chain
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience of working on a wide range of project values and in one of the defined sectors
- Fully proficient with current UK Building Regulations
- Excellent detailing skills
- Producing specifications
- Working within a BIM environment is highly desirable
