Title of the Position: Architectural Design Technologist / Architectural Acoustic Designer

Main duties:

Prepare proposals
Analyze technical documents and reports
Prepare working drawings
Supervise architectural technical staff
Monitor and inspect work
Construct architectural and display models
Assist in design development
Computer-aided design (CAD)
Prepare presentation graphics and drawings
Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Test and adjust units to specifications
Coach and instruct apprentices
Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
Estimate parts and labour costs
Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
All other relevant tasks

Computer and technology knowledge:

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time

Wage: $30.50/hour

Job and Skill Requirements:

At least 2 years of similar experience.
Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent written and oral communication, Initiative, Organized, Team player, Accurate, Reliable, Dependable, Flexible
Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Ability to distinguish between colours, Sound discrimination, Combination of sitting, standing and walking.
Completion of bachelors degree
