LEGAL SUPPORT APPRENTICE BARRISTERS CHAMBERS
- An excellent opportunity to start a career, complete an apprenticeship and progress within a Barristers Chambers. General duties may include making and receiving telephone calls, preparing precise attendance notes, and filing, etc.

- Provide invaluable admin support.
- Access to lots of email mailboxes to check case and court listings.
- Uploading papers and booking in cases.
- Chasing case papers and scheduling case meeting.
- In time - taking telephone calls speaking to clients and our barristers
- Role to include but not be limited to:
- Dealing with phone queries
- Reception duties
- Purchasing
- Filing
- Scanning
- Data input
- General administrative duties
- Answering phones
- Using office equipment
- Sending e mails
- Using our file management software
- Keyboard skills
- Listing and speaking skills

Desired skills
4-9 grades English and maths GCSE's
- Confident with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties
- Good attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm’s in-house systems where training will be given
- Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills
- Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding
- The ability to use own initiative, be able to work individually as well as part of a team
- Must be well-presented with a clear, pleasant telephone manner
- Good organisational skills
- Good client care skills

You will complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
- This Apprenticeship will involve off the job training.
- You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
- You need to have an employer to support your Apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role.
- The typical length of this Apprenticeship course is 18 months.
- This course has multiple start dates throughout the year
