A day in the life of…
As Reception Manager you will help to support the Front Office Manager in leading the Front Office operation, always ensuring the delivery of an exceptional guest experience and ensuring all customer enquiries and requests for bookings are dealt with promptly, courteously, and efficiently, always achieving the best revenue streams. you will also oversee all recruitment and continual development of the front office team ensuring departmental objectives for the team are set and feedback is provided on a regular basis.
Based in the Holiday Inn at Manchester Airport you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.
As part of the Manchester International Airport complex and situated within close proximity to all three terminals, this hotel boasts 280 bedrooms. The hotel opened early February and we are looking to expand the team now the reservations are growing!
What do we need from you?
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Front Office environment at supervisory level, within a hotel
- Experience of working within structured team environment and able to demonstrate effective influencing skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and good team player
- Experience managing and developing a team
- Knowledge of Opera is desirable
