You will mentor/ coache and offer ongoing support finance apprentices through their apprenticeship and qualification lessons and exams. Skills Coach, Reading My client is looking for a mentor/ coach to support our finance apprentices through their apprenticeship. You will need to: Meet regularly with your apprentice and their manager Liaise with our tutor and compliance teams as needed Set and enforce SMART objectives with your apprentices Keep detailed records to meet our compliance obligations. Although you will be supporting apprentices through their accountancy training you do not need detailed knowledge of the accountancy sector. You do need to have a good understanding of what it is like to work in a busy business and be able to help the apprentice develop the skills and behaviours to succeed in the workplace. Please note: This is not just a 'fluffy sit for a chat' role, each meeting and conversation will have an agenda that you drive and needs writing up and reports need completing afterwards. The students will be paying for professional training and will need to pass exams and your role is to coach & mentor them through this. This is a role that would suit someone with good administration skills as well as a personality or skill-set that could make you a good coach.
