Company Overview
A growing food manufacturing company that have performed exceptionally well recently are looking for a Finance Controller to manage the finance team and provide stability during a period of growth.
Skills & Experience:
- ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Experience working in food/FMCG manufacturing desirable
- Prior experience managing a team of finance professionals
- Sage 200 experience essential
Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for leading all financial accounting, treasury and taxation functions for the Group including budgeting and forecasting
- Lead the preparation of year-end accounts and work with our external auditors to complete the statutory accounts
- Manage relationships with external UK advisors
- Oversee a small team including management accountants, credit controllers etc.
- Develop KPIs and budgets for all departments
- Advise the board on tax efficient strategies including capital investment appraisal, changes in share structure, R&D projects and ECA
- Lead multiple strategic projects such as obtaining grant funding, development of ERP system
