Motus Commercials is an approved Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle dealership located in Glasgow and is on the lookout for a dedicated Apprentice to become a fully qualified Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Technician. As our new Apprentice, you will join our friendly Team which will see you working 5 days a week 7.30am to 16.30pm in our approved VW dealership workshop.
Starting date for this role would be July/August

What Will You Be Doing?
Motus Commercials in Glasgow is an approved Volkswagen Dealership and are hiring a new Apprentice VW Technician who can learn how to service and repair vehicles in a safe and economical manner through the supervision of a fully qualified Technician.
- To undertake hands on training within the Service Department by working with your nominated mentor.
- To observe and learn how to be able to diagnose a fault
- To learn how to repair basic faults through to more complicated as your knowledge grows
- To learn the dealer standards and undertake servicing and repair work to the standard required
- To embrace all opportunities of learning and developing alongside some of our industry leading Master Technicians
- To attend recognised courses of instruction and achieve the correct pass mark for each course.
- To always work to the best of his/her ability.
- To respect the property of the Company and any property for which the Company is responsible, or which is in their care.
- To assist with general housekeeping duties required within the workshop.
- To enjoy your time as a Brilliant colleague within Motus Commercials.
Who Are We Looking for?
We are looking an apprentice to join our friendly Team who can demonstrate:
- A keen interest in motor vehicles and ability to follow instructions (work experience through school placement)
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and confidence
- An analytical and methodical way of thinking - previous interests in engineering, technology and diagnostics
- Being highly motivated with an eye for detail.
- that they are driven by own initiative
- An excellent communicator with the ability to maintain positive relationships.
- Minimum grade C / 4 in English and Maths is preferred.
