Contract Type: Apprenticeship

The Opportunity

As a scaffold apprentice, you will be responsible for aiding the scaffolding team in carrying out scaffold duties, ensuring the company’s scaffolding operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner in line with our client requirements, to gain an industry recognised qualification.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

> Ensure that all current health and safety standards and procedures are understood maintained and adhered to at all times and that all operatives work in conjunction with Health and Safety at Work Act, Working at Height, PUWRA, COSHH Regulations and other applicable legislation

> Carrying out on-site labouring duties

> Loading and off-loading work vehicles

> Scaffold design: - ensure all scaffolds which require a design are in line with procedure and designs are up to date and readily available.

> Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with KAEFER HS&E policy, procedures and Safety Management System.

The Person

The successful candidate should be able to communicate and articulate themselves. They should be friendly and adaptable to change and also be resilient in character and able to deal with all challenges that may arise. They should be enthusiastic, reliable, willing to learn and able to work as part of a team.

> Have the ability to demonstrate effective prioritisation and time-management skills
