The Role
Working as part of our branch team within a busy environment, this role as an Apprentice Sales Assistant is a great opportunity to start your career with us. The role is full of variety where no two days will be the same; you’ll learn the key role our Sales Assistants play in the branch through working across all the departments and learning how we operate.
What you will be doing
Through involvement in all aspects of our sales activities, you will learn how to provide excellent service to our customers as well as growing your product knowledge. Throughout your apprenticeship, we will provide training, support and development to ensure you get the best possible start to your career.
You will learn how to become the friendly face of the business, understanding the importance of driving sales as well as how to deal with customers to ensure their requirements are met and that they’re well supported.
What we’re looking for
You will have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to demonstrate an aptitude for selling. Self-motivated and confident with a positive attitude towards providing excellent customer service, you must also be able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Good PC skills, including Microsoft Office, are desirable.
