A bit about the role
We have two fantastic newly created roles for care experienced candidates to join the Action for Children family. Our People Team's purpose is to make Action for Children a better place to work and improve working lives for all our staff and volunteers. We're excited to welcome two care experienced individuals to join our team to complete an apprenticeship with us.
Our apprenticeships provide an opportunity to gain workplace skills and experience in the People Team of one of the UK's largest children's charities, not only making a difference to the children and young people that we support, but also to the people in our workforce who work tirelessly to achieve our mission – all whilst also completing a Business Administration (level 3) qualification to further your education.
At Action for Children we define care experience as: People who have had previous personal experience of the care system for example they have been a child who was looked after, had a social worker, lived in a children's home or extended family members rather than birth parents.
