Apprentice Insurance File Reviewer (Operations)
Description
This is an exciting opportunity to start your career as part of our ‘earn as you learn’ apprenticeship programme.
The successful candidate will support our ‘first line of defence’ as part of the operations team and will be assisting with detailed audits of our business operations to ensure legal, regulatory and operational requirements are being met.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:
*the following elements will be in a support capacity to more experienced associates*
- Planning, organising and conducting risk based electronic/file audits of the business.
- Loading and maintaining data collected from the audits into the file audit database.
- Analysing and interpretation of results and findings in order that trends can be identified and observations and recommendations identified.
- To follow up recommendations in a timely manner and communicate to the business and operations team.
- Providing coaching where required to associates to ensure issues identified are rectified.
- Providing support and guidance to the business regarding compliance with best practice

Candidate Profile
Candidate Profile
- A Levels (or equivalent) and 5 GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel)
- Willingness and ability to continue to develop knowledge through formal and informal learning, both internal and external to the company.
- An interest in gaining an understanding of insurer products and specialisms.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates.
- Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Ability build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers and associates.
- An interest in establishing an understanding of regulatory controls and procedures relating to both commercial and retail customers, where applicable.
- An interest in developing auditing skills i.e. being meticulous/thorough, having excellent attention to detail and the ability to question/challenge and ability to understand market practices and to test this compliance against group and regulatory requirements.
