Job description
Working as part of a small team within the Merchandise Warehouse on a double day 5 shift pattern, this opportunity comes with a starting salary of £25,594 alongside competitive benefits and company pension scheme. The Merchandise Warehouse works with edging, laminates and splash-backs, preparing deliveries to be sent to customers.
Your Tasks
- Operate as a member of the Warehouse team in the Pick–Pack areas, specifically the Merchandise Warehouse.
- Process and pick orders with care and accuracy, package correctly and despatching on time in line with customer requirements.
- Ensure all company property/equipment is used and maintained with due care and attention.
- Ensure that stock and work areas are maintained in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
- Assist with the organisation and stock rotation.
Our Requirements
- Recognise the importance of working safely.
- Fork Lift Truck experience essential.
- Reasonable standard of secondary education.
- Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience of working in a Pick-Pack environment preferred.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to work 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00hrs, Monday to Friday.
