Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing
Complete NVQ Level 3 in Machine Printing- Learn to operate a seven colour KDO Flexographic Printer
- Monitor and control printing press to obtain maximum quality
- Set and mount plates, set gears and print cylinders, set print dies
- Complete job ticket documentation
- Work well within a team to meet short deadlines
- Ensure machines are maintained to a good working order
- Report any issues to line management
- Adhere to correct Health and Safety procedures
A Few Things About You
- We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high levels or accuracy at all times
- GCSE 4-9 or equivalent required in Maths and English
- A willingness to learn about all aspects of Flexographic Printing
- You will possess a good attention to detail and have an ability to be
- self-motivated and organised
- You will have a pro-active, positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team
- You will be required to maintain good attendance and time keeping
