This role entails the following key tasks, full training will be provided:
- Complete all tasks of anode manufacture to current job card and drawing requirements prior to ex-works date
- Assist with saw requirements
- Assist with Boxing when demand requires it or instructed to do so by the Production team
- Main tasks, but not limited to, are to assembly corrosion products.
- Ensure that all Job cards are delivered by the set deadlines.
- Ensure that the day to day tasks are carried out in accordance with the workshop policy and procedures, ISO9001 and Cathelco Group company handbook.
- Address departmental daily 5S requirements
- Ensure the department is kept clean and tidy and end of shift checks are completed daily.
- Continually improve the department and ensure any pertinent improvement actions are implemented
- Main tasks, but not limited to, are cutting/turning bar stock, rolling sheet metal to deliver to the assembly department of corrosion products in the machine shop.
- On occasion you may be asked to complete tasks outside your area but within your capability.
- Provide support for all of Production if required. On occasion you may be asked to complete tasks outside your area but within your capability.
This role will complete a Level 2 Engineering Operative NVQ progressing to the level NVQ.

The role will require commitment to study and learning from the applicant, estimated 20% of the working week.
