This great opportunity is to become an E&P Apprentice Electrician for our LV Division. You will work with our highly skilled team to complete various prestigious projects within the rail sector across the UK. You will learn all aspects of E&P works across the rail sector. All while attending College on either a block release or day release programme to complete your Electrical NVQ and ultimately become a qualified Electrician.

Your roles and responsibilities will include the following:
  • Work closely with the LV team to ensure tasks are completed within the required timescales.
  • Complete project inductions as required.
  • Work safely as instructed by your Line Manager/Supervisor.
  • Be willing to travel for work and work away from home as required for specific projects.
  • Willing to work weekends where required.
  • Report any unsafe incidents & close calls
  • Assist with the installation of various Electrical Systems as instructed by your Line Manager/Supervisor. Following drawings and designs relating to the project.
  • Attend College on either a block release or day release programme and ensure all work and assignments are up to date and completed to the expected standard.
  • Comply with all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and
  • We are recruiting school and college leavers to join our E&P Electrical apprenticeship scheme who want to make a difference and develop their skills.

Here is how the programme works:
  • You will attend College on either a block release or day release programme – expected duration of 3 / 4 Years.
  • Alongside attending College, you will train with electricians to gain the knowledge and experience required to become a qualified electrician.
  • You will become a qualified electrician at the end of the apprenticeship.

Minimum Educational Requirements:
You will have achieved or be on track to achieve at least 5 GCSE's grade 4 or above including maths and English language.
