This four-year apprenticeship consists of a combination of college hours and on-site experience, leading to a final FICA test and an SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Installing and maintaining cables, wiring, conduits, fitments, meters, switchgear and other electrical equipment
- Using a variety of hand and power tools to measure, cut, join and fit cabling, wiring and equipment of various types
- Reading plans and technical drawings and working from them on large or small projects
- Installing the wiring and electrical components in complex electrical and electronic equipment
- Testing installations to make sure that they are effective and completely safe, diagnosing and repairing faults in installations and electrical equipment
- To be part of the Engineering Support team working on behalf of Atalian Servest, providing a technical engineering service to the Atalian Servest client in respect of electrical servicing, repairs and maintenance
- Assisting general maintenance of electrical systems, HVAC, mechanical and plumbing assets.
- Undertake routine PPM tasks in line with latest SFG 20 procedures.
- Assist with trouble shouting issues with plant.
- To undertake maintenance duties as required to making sure all reports are accurately completed within specific timescales
- To provide a flexible approach to working practices within the maintenance team which could involve undertaking tasks associated with building maintenance and projects
- To produce accurate documentation as required and to keep up-to-date records of testing and inspections, Emergency Lighting tests etc.
- To undertake Project, Minor Works, Compliance, PPM and reactive works to a high standard and within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
- To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
- To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs always.
- Working in a safe manner always, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and Atalian Servest H&S policy.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, relevant stakeholders, staff and external bodies
- Developing effective communication and strong client / supplier relationships to aid business development and retention
- Project yourself, your team and the company in a courteous and professional manner always.

- Working closely with colleagues/operatives across the Atalian Servest group to gain knowledge and experience of an integrated delivery of client services.
- Work closely with the Regional Supervisor to undertake business improvement projects as directed.
- Helping create and maintain a positive safety culture, leading by example at all times
- Ensuring all employees are aware of their obligations under the Atalian Servest Health & Safety Policy, and that work is carried out in accordance with the policy at all times.
About You:
- National 4/5 Maths, science or Physics
- SECTT aptitude test (can be arranged for applicants)
- Electrical Engineering Entry level training advantageous but not compulsory
- Previous work experience would be advantageous but not compulsory
- Full disclosure is a contractual requirement.

- Passionate and focused to deliver a first-class service
- Ability to work safely always and the ability to understand contract and Health & Safety requirements/regulations.
- Possess effective communication skills with ability to write reports and or communicate verbally with Manager, helpdesk and college representatives.
- Ability to use electronic hand-held devices.
- Flexible and able to adapt positively and proactively to change
Additionally, this role may require NPPV Level 2 security clearance
