Apprentice Collections Agent

We are one of the UK’s most successful debt recovery services. We have an exciting opportunity available for someone to join us as a Collections Agent, we’re looking for a motivated, professional and ambitious individual to join our team In Leeds, West Yorkshire.
The key responsibilities of the role will be to support the collections team with the timely and accurate collection of invoiced income for their various clients. It is a medium-high volume environment and the successful candidate would be required to work to volume and at pace, whilst maintaining accuracy at all times.
Who will you be?
- Previous experience working in a call centre or credit control type role is preferred
- Excellent communications skills - both writing/data entry and over the telephone.
- You must be comfortable working to targets (Opportunity to earn performance based commission on achieving those targets)
- Strong IT skills - comfortable using systems
- Must be able to have difficult conversations with customers on both inbound and outbound calls
- You must be a good negotiator and a strong problem solver
- Good rapport building skills with Customers & Clients.
