The Role:
Choosing a career with HCC Care means joining one of our friendly, committed and supportive teams, as well as being part of the largest care provider in Hampshire. You’ll have access to a wealth of rewarding career choices, whatever your skills and experience.

Our homes specialise in residential, nursing and the short-term care of those discharged from hospital. As an Apprentice Care Assistant, no two days will be the same. The role is both varied and rewarding, where you’ll provide outstanding care to those using our services by supporting them with their daily living activities. You’ll also support their wellbeing by engaging with meaningful conversations and interests whilst promoting their dignity and independence.
Whether you’re new to care or already have some experience, you’ll be well supported in this role as you undertake your Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification enabling you to put all the theory you learn into practice. If you think you could make a positive contribution and can demonstrate empathy, an interest in the needs of older people and a likeminded approach, we’d love to hear from you.
On successful completion of your Apprenticeship, your learning doesn’t have to stop there. We offer a raft of further development opportunities depending on where you want to take your career next.

This role does involve some weekend and bank holiday working, for which enhancements are paid.
Full COVID-19 vaccination status is no longer required as a condition of employment but being fully vaccinated is strongly encouraged.
