Who are Taylor's Auto Electrical?
Taylor's Auto Electrical is an Aberdeen based company who specialise in electrical diagnosis and repair of car, truck, trailer, petrol and diesel engine management systems. We are looking to add an additional apprentice auto electrician to our staff.

What skills will I learn?
- To diagnose and repair electrical faults on the vehicle (which may also involve removal and re-fitting of interior/exterior trim)
- Be able to carry out diagnosis, repairs and service on vehicle Air Conditioning
- Be able to carry out diagnosis, system repairs and service on vehicle Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS)
- Be able to carry out diagnosis, repairs and service on Electric/Hybrid vehicles
- Be able to read and interpret vehicle wiring diagrams
- Fitting of electrical components
- Use specialist diagnostic equipment for diagnostic and programming processes.
- Gain valuable electrical/mechanical vehicle knowledge
How long will my apprenticeship last?
You will work through your apprenticeship for a duration of up to 4 years.
Working hours and Salary
Your hours will typically be 40 hours per week and paid overtime may be available as and when required.
Your salary will be paid £6.50 per hour (may vary depending on age).
What Qualifications/Skills are required?
National 5 passes, grade C or above in English and Computing plus 1 other relevant subject, or equivalent academic achievements.
Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written situations
Fully computer literate
Good Core Skills in IT, Communication, Numeracy, Problem Solving and Working with others.
Must be highly organised and have good attention to detail
Adhere to company safety, housekeeping and discipline standards
A really strong desire to work within the Automotive Industry

Salary: £6.50 per hour
