Reporting to: UK Financial Controller

Description

Constellium UK is part of a multinational Aluminium group listed on the NYSE, we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who would like to take their first steps in their accountancy career. The successful applicant will work towards their qualification attending college classes and receive one-on-one training from the financial controller developing real world experience.

Responsibilities to grow to include:

• Attending college and work towards attaining AAT Level 2/3 Accountancy qualification
• Creation of purchase orders requested by team members and marking goods as being received from the delivery notes.
• To record sales and purchase invoices in the accountancy software
• Reconciling the bank accounts in the accountancy system
• Set up bank payments in the banking system
• Assisting with other tasks as requested by the financial controller including but not limited to: Weekly cash flow forecasts, the month end process, UK government grant claim submission process and the statutory accounts and audit process.

Minimum requirements: GCSE grade A-C in Maths and English (or equivalent)
